Chanting

Sound is a gift.

We once lived in a sonorous community.  People used to sing - in church, round the piano, when they were working in the fields.  Now, we are becoming silent.  Communication is by pushing keys to write an e-mail.  Singing is something we only listen to.  It is now time to remember the gift of sound.

The sound of your own voice can have a strong healing effect on your body, mind and soul.  When chanting, the mind is neither regretting the past nor dreading the future.   Hence, chanting brings us into the present which is very powerful for the psyche.

In 2007, join David and discover the healing power of chant.  The sessions will also include pranayama and meditation.

The group meets once a month on a Sunday evening at :1 Stevens Court, Wellingborough Road, Earls Barton, Northants, NN6 OJR,  from 19:00 to 20:30.  The session is open to all members of Inner Healing.
