Course Content:-
Looks at all the tools of Yoga – asanas, breath, relaxation, meditation, positive thinking - which can be used in a variety of ways to empower and support an individual to manage his/her health.
In Yoga Therapy an experienced Yoga Teacher – qualified yoga therapist – assists a person to overcome discomforts or imbalances that emanate from specific conditions. Usually, this is on a one-to-one basis using asanas, pranayama, meditation, relaxation and lifestyle counselling to improve the individual's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
The focus is on Yoga as a healing pathway, an awakening of awareness to the true nature of spirit and its ability to create wellness on all levels – physical, emotional and psychological.
On this course you learn how to move into this delicate, professional, therapeutic relationship to facilitate the blossoming of well-being and happiness.
