The Inner Healing School of Yoga was established in 1987. As its name suggests, Yoga is taught in such a way that its therapeutic qualities are given high priority. You can attend Sessions that are so gentle that you simply feel nurtured or you can attend a Yoga Session which is more challenging to the breath. For example, to breathe in shoulderstand is more difficult than in Savasana, the relaxation pose, but here, at the Inner Healing School of Yoga, great emphasis is placed on being able to breathe easily in whichever pose you choose. The breath is the most important part of your diet and the breath influences every single part of you, from individual cells to mind energy. It's an indicator of emotional, mental and physical fitness. So it makes sense to choose Sessions that you can enjoy without strain. This amazing ancient art which has stood the test of time, having been practised for thousands of years, is now being rediscovered as the perfect way to bring balance and harmony back into our relationship with others, the world around us and especially within oneself. David has been enjoying the wonders of Yoga for many years.

serene. This led me to Yoga Classes. Again the effect was transformational and my whole lifestyle began to blossom and grow.
During my travels around the world and especially in India, I experienced many different types of yoga from the very strong to the soothingly gentle. But in all the different forms that Yoga takes,
the underlying themes of inner peace, love and well-being shine through. Living becomes a joy and opens you to the magic of yourself.”

David is now director of The Inner Healing School of Yoga , a family run business for over 35 years . The school is based on the philosophy of Yoga is for all, regardless of age, sex, or religious background. Yoga, when properly taught is a therapy which opens you to a higher level of fitness and radiant health. It is the most established Yoga School in the Midlands and specialises in Hatha Yoga. All its teachers are highly qualified. Yoga Sessions are for beginners through to the more adept and begin with a gentle warm-up to prepare your body for something a little stronger with a delicious relaxation to finish.

Over the years David has gained many qualifications:

Diplomas in Yoga, Indian Head Massage and Touch for Health(Kinesiology) and Laughter Yoga. At university he qualified in Film Documentary BA (Hons) and TESOL. And as a Yoga teacher he specialises in Yoga for Sleep (Yoga Nidra) and the Yoga of Sound (mantra) both very healing and nourishing.
