Our 10-month Yoga Philosophy Course offers a rich and inspiring journey into the timeless wisdom of yoga. This course is designed for students, teachers, and anyone wishing to explore yoga’s teachings in depth, integrating its principles into daily life and personal practice.
What You Will Learn
Through guided study, reflective practice, and experiential workshops, the course covers:
Classical texts and philosophy — including teachings from the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Hatha Yoga traditions
Ethics and lifestyle (Yamas & Niyamas) — understanding how these principles support wellbeing and conscious living
The mind, consciousness, and subtle energy — exploring thought, perception, awareness, chakras, and energy systems
Meditation, breath, mantra, and ritual — including Agni Hotra fire ceremony and Cacao ceremony for purification, connection, and embodiment
Shamanism and Yoga — exploring the similarities and shared wisdom between shamanic practices and yoga philosophy
Practical application — bringing these teachings into daily life, personal practice, and teaching

David Cosserat, Director of the Inner Healing School of Yoga, brings over two decades of practice, teaching, and teacher training experience. David’s approach makes yoga philosophy accessible, practical, and inspiring, connecting ancient teachings with modern life.
